The Okanagan Symphony is the third largest professional Symphony Orchestra in British Columbia, and has entertained residents of the Okanagan Valley and visitors from around the globe with symphonic music since 1960. The OSO is dedicated to bringing the passion of symphonic music to life throughout the Okanagan, while educating, entertaining, and reaching out to all generations.
DID YOU KNOW?
Supporting the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra has direct financial benefits for the community:
Last year the OSO re-invested $750,000 directly back into the pockets of Okanagan based musicians, businesses, hotels, theatres and contract workers.
There are many ways through which individuals, groups and organizations may show and be recognized for their support for the Symphony:
Contact the symphony office at 250-763-7544 to discuss a sponsorship or donation plan with benefits specifically tailored for you.
People who like doing business "on line" will find donating through CanadaHelps.org makes the process easy and convenient for one-time gifts, for gift cards, for setting up automatic deductions and even for accepting publicly traded securities to support the Symphony. CanadaHelps.org is fast, safe and secure and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation immediately by email. The Canada Revenue Agency supports this method of making gifts to your community.
